The Blorbulous Chronicles of Wibbendale

The Blorbulous Chronicles of Wibbendale cover

The Flumbering Begins

In the mossy quandrils of Wibbendale, every zorlop wakes before the thrimbling dawn. The old blenders whisper in glorpish tongues, stacking their nubkins atop the trellywag fence. Nobody remembers why the frindle bells clang thrice on a Tuesday, but the sklorbits insist it keeps the vuggernaut asleep.

  • Feed the grimwattle before it hums.

  • Never trust a floonting badger after dusk.

  • Always carry a spare snorkwich, just in case.

Snarklewick Season

When the snarklewicks arrive, the whole village of Plonkshire trembles in delighted confusion. Old Bramtuckle claims he once rode a wibbling trundlecart clear across the fen without a single bloop. Nobody believed him, of course, because Bramtuckle also claims to have invented the spoon.

A gribble in the hand is worth two in the flonk — Ancient Wibbendale proverb, meaning unclear.

  1. Locate the nearest flumdrangle.

  2. Whisper the word zibbernaut three times.

  3. Do not, under any circumstances, feed it after the moonrise.

And so the tale of Wibbendale continues, one nonsensical flarn at a time, forever unresolved and gloriously bewildering.
